From the President’s Desk 

What a fabulous weekend (June 21-22) we just had for NEFHRC. On Saturday, we hosted the Judges/Handlers Seminar at Gander Mountain in Jacksonville.  It was attended by 36 people, with some traveling as far away as Sarasota, Sneads and South Carolina!  Thanks to Jim Bowden and Tracy Stubbs for presenting this informative meeting. We all learned how to become better judges, as well as better handlers. Also, a BIG thanks goes out to Susan Fulenwider for coordinating this event.

On Sunday, our monthly training day was held at Kit & Rick Giery's place in St Simons Island.  What a fabulous day!  Thanks so much to Kit & Rick for allowing us to use your spectacular property.  The training set-ups, the skeet shooting, the shooting demonstration, the fast dog contest, the duck calling presentation, and of course the picnic....all of it was absolutely awesome!  When can we do it again?  What I was proud of was how so many people stepped forward to help make this fun day happen.  Thank you everyone!
