Cook Property - Callahan   

Mr. William Cook's property is located in Callahan, northwest of Jacksonville.  We will plan to have several of our seasoned members work in the fields to help those with younger, inexperienced dogs.  There will also be a water set-up at a pond for everyone else to run their dogs.  

DIRECTIONS:  

From I-95, take Hwy A1A (exit # 373 at Fernandina/ Amelia Island) west for 12 miles into Callahan to traffic light

- Turn right (north) at the light onto US 1 / Hwy 301 and travel for 1 block to traffic light at Brandies Road.

- Turn left (west) onto Brandies Rd, cross the RR tracks, travel for about ˝ mile. You’ll see the large iron gate on the left.

- Follow the NEFHRC signs

From I-10, take Hwy 301 (exit # 343) northeast for 20 miles into Callahan to the traffic light.

- Turn left (northwest) at the light onto US 1 / Hwy 301 and travel for 1 block to traffic light at Brandies Road.

- Turn left (west) onto Brandies Rd, cross the RR tracks, travel for about ˝ mile. You’ll see the large iron gate on the left.

- Follow the NEFHRC signs

From I-295 (Southside/Orange Park), take US 1 north for approximately 12 miles to the traffic light.

- Go straight through light and travel for 1 block to traffic light at Brandies Road.

- Turn left (west) onto Brandies Rd, cross the RR tracks, travel for about ˝ mile. You’ll see the large iron gate on the left.

- Follow the NEFHRC signs

NOTES:

- Remember to keep the gates closed!

- Remember to bring your dog, water and a chair.

- If you bring guests, please make sure that they sign our waiver when you arrive.
